THE ARTS ROUTE (1 DAY)

This tour will take place under the guidance of a Senegalese academic specializing in African Arts.
In the morning, you will visit the IFAN Museum, the richest art museum in the sub-region.
During this hour-long tour, you will appreciate traditional art objects from Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Guinea, and Senegal. Then visit the National Art Gallery (exhibition of contemporary Senegalese painting) as well as other private galleries of Senegalese paintings.
Continuation of the visit to Thiès some 70 km from Dakar where you will have lunch before visiting the famous Manufacture de Tapisserie. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
