The tour will proceed with ferry service from Dakar Port.Officially designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978, Goree Island carries the darkhistory of 300 years of slave trade in West Africa, often the last stop before the ships set off across the Atlantic. During this tour you will visit the Slave House where the museum curator will deliver an educational lecture.The tour will visit the Door of No Return, the auction block,the Museum, and the fort with the Memorial to the Martyrs. Guests will also have time to interact with residents of GoreeIsland and support local artisans and shopkeepers
