Day 1: Dakar / Kaolack / Kedougou
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the eastern of the country in the early morning. Visit typical colourful weekly markets in the country side. Along the way you will also discover various ethnic groups (such as Wolof, Serer), villages and archaeological sites known as megaliths. After lunch in Tambacounda, continue to Kedougou by crossing the Niokolokoba National Park from north to south. Also visit traditional villages and interact with the locals. Arrival in Kedougou at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight “Le Bedick”hotel lodge.

Day 2: Kedougou / Dindefelo / SegouKedougou
After breakfast departure to Segou on the border between Senegal and Guinea. Today you will discover very different villages where mainly animists worshipers live. You will climb the hills of Fouta Djallon and discover the original Fulanis villages and the fresh waterfalls of Dindefelo. After lunch, relax or take a shower under the magnificent Dindefelo waterfalls. Drive back to Kedougou for a sightseeing tour, including a visit to the local market. Dinner and overnight at “Le Bedick”

Day 3: Kedougou / Ibel / Iwol / Bedick
Departure after breakfast in the direction of Ibel Peuhl residential area, half nomad cattle breeders. You will meet some of the authorities and learn something from their thousand years old culture. Afterwards back to Kedougou for lunch in the hotel. After midday, relax at the swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at “Le Bedick”

Day 4: Kedougou / Mako / Kaolack / Dakar
Departure very early in the morning after breakfast and cross the Niokolokoba Game Reserve again. Pay a visit to Mako for a short hike along the Gambia River and interact with the locals called Sarakholes, Bambaras, whose main activities are goldwashing. The lunch break will be in Kaolack and drive further north to Mbour and stop at the fishing port to support the colorful return of the fishermen. At the end of the day you will come back to Dakar.
