You will set off on a 15-mile trip from Dakar and pass through Niayes, known as the vegetable belt of Dakar, until you reach Keur Moussa. Keur Moussa is home to the early 20th century Benedictine monastery. On Sundays you will celebrate mass with the devoted monks of Keur Moussa with services accompanied by traditional African music in instruments. You will pray and meditate to the sound of koras, balafons, and soft drums – a powerful moment of communion!
